I recently had a 12" vinyl project mastered at XARC as I had had some bad experiences with vinyl mastering elsewhere and wanted to see if XARC was up to it's high promises with the mysterious art of vinyl mastering and as I received the first test pressings, I was totally floored. I could've sweared I was listening to a cd copy of the material. Unbelievable. Especially since I had already grown accustomed to the fact that what you send in to vinyl pressing is newer what comes out. This time this was definitely not the case.
For truth's sake I have to say, though, that we did have a rather big problem with the mastering process concerning loss of material on one of the songs. However, the response from XARC upon reporting this problem was exemplary. With no additional cost I received fixed masters very very swiftly and with very thorough and sufficient apologies.
I would recommend XARC to anyone and am very much planning to use them in the future as well.
