When we decided to go ahead and master our demo of commercial and film tracks, we considered several options, including local "bricks-and-mortar" mastering houses. Given that we live on opposite coasts, we knew it could get awkward to send CDs back and forth. We discovered Xarc because it was discussed (and recommended!) a lot on "OSXAudio.com" (now BigBlueLounge.com), so we thought we'd give it a try. Contrary to a lot of people's expereiences with online mastering houses, we found Lorenz to be extremely musical in his approach, and more importantly, very personable and a pleasure to work with.

It was great to have a lot of personal contact with Lorenz, partly because we learned a lot that we can apply to future mixes, so that we can get even better results. But also because next time we're in Dresden, we know someone to hang out with and buy him a beer!

As we get more work from our demo, we'll keep coming back with more tracks. With Xarc, and Lorenz, we have a partner in crime who we'll use again and again. Lorenz, thanks again.
