The professional, affordable service I was looking for. I had an album mastered recently by XARC. Lorenz handled my project with a great personal touch. I was never out of the loop while the work was being carried out, and the final product was very much as we discussed. He answered all my questions and came up with the goods every time. Great communication throughout. I personally learned a lot from him about the mastering process, about what can and can't be done, and this is very helpful knowledge for anyone who wants to make good music.

I found the demos section helpful in making my decision, and I was happy with the FTP upload which works well even with my slow broadband connection. Regarding the actual music, Lorenz was able to bring 10 different sounding, 'demo-y' digital recordings together to make a cohesive, full sounding album.

I'd recommend XARC to anyone who needs mastering done, no question. Thanks Lorenz!
