Tape Baking

Tape Baking is a process where the glues that stick the magnetic oxide to the polymer of the Tape are slowly heated to chemically recombine the material to the backing. This is a restoration method that will allow some damaged or sticky tapes to be played safely. This improvement is only temporary, it is best to make copies of a baked tape before it becomes permanently damaged.
